Asking yourself these questions can help you figure out how many seats you need, what kind of fuel efficiency to look for, and whether or not you need a vehicle built for the wilderness.

Set a Budget and Stick to It

When setting your budget, there are other factors to consider. Insurance, fuel maintenance, registration, etc. Try to keep your car payments at or less than 15 percent of your monthly take-home pay. Once you’ve come up with this budget, stick to it. The lower the better.

Figure Out Your Must-Haves

While everyone wants the latest and greatest technology and features, it isn’t always plausible. Try to figure out what you can’t live without in your next vehicle.
