While the information on the 2023 Nissan Sentra is not yet final, we expect next year’s model to continue to be a reliable and pleasant compact sedan with room for five passengers that won’t break the bank and gets excellent gas mileage.
Since the current generation of the Sentra only started in 2020, any changes made for the 2023 model year will likely be superficial and limited to the vehicle’s aesthetics or optional features.
However, more advanced safety and technology features have become standard on all trim levels of the latest generation of Nissan’s compact sedan. This could continue in 2023.
When looking for a compact, reasonably priced sedan, the 2023 Nissan Sentra is looking to be a strong contender. The Sentra consistently provides an excellent value for its price and comes standard with cutting-edge safety features.
The following trims are speculation based on the 2022 Sentra. We anticipate the 2023 version to offer something similar:

Front passengers will find ample head and legroom. The rear passengers will enjoy some of the class’s most spacious legroom. Given the wide range of motion available for both the seat and the wheel, most drivers should have no trouble finding a good driving position.
If you want to change the radio station or turn up the air conditioning, you can do so quickly and easily with conveniently located controls for both the driver and passenger. The 8-inch display is easy to use and accessible.
Nissan has yet to announce official changes to the Sentra’s design, but facelifts typically include new or restyled grilles, fascias, and head- and tail lights.
Colorways:
We expect the 2023 Sentra to be comparable to this year’s model in terms of performance. The Sentra’s 4-cylinder engine produces 149 horsepower paired with a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT), resulting in good fuel economy.
A new independent rear suspension could be part of the update. The ride, handling, and MPG would probably all benefit if that were the case. A high-performance Sentra with a 1.6-liter turbo four-cylinder engine is also possible.
For those who are as excited about the 2023 Nissan Sentra as we are, we’ll keep you informed as new details become available. Once Nissan officially releases it, you can get your hands on one at Lee Nissan in Ft. Walton Beach, FL.
