The 2022 Nissan Frontier comes with a new exterior design that is beefier and more modern than its predecessors. You can add available features such as a sports bar, off-road style step rails, mud flaps, and 17-inch beadlock, style wheels. The Frontier comes with several trims: the King Cab S, King Cab SV, the Crew Cab S, Crew Cab SV, Crew Cab Long Bed SV, and the Crew Cab Pro-X.
The updated interior is uniquely refined, which is in stark contrast to the rugged style of the exterior. A 7-inch digital instrument panel display and an 8-inch touchscreen come standard. There is ample storage throughout with sizeable door pockets, a deep center console and tray above the screen. Nissan’s zero gravity seats are standard. You can choose from several optional features such as heated seats, steering wheel and mirrors. The cabin is quiet, with sound-absorbing acoustic glass filtering out unwanted noise. The King Cab seats four people, while the Crew Cab seats five.
The Frontier arrives with a larger front stabilizer, a new rear stabilizer, hydraulic cab mounts, jounce bumpers, a dynamic damper, and a revised hydraulic steering rack. The Frontier is powered by a 310-horsepower 3.8-liter V-6 engine that provides enough oomph to power up rocky slopes with ease. Steering and handling remain solid even when towing.
